Job Overview

As a Loan Development Specialist at Associated Bank, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop strong relationships with realtors, builders, attorneys, and other centers of influence. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Originate regulatory compliant residential loan applications and expand customer relationships by identifying customers' needs and matching them with product selections and resources within the assigned business line.
  • Develop client referral relationships with realtors, builders, attorneys, and other centers of influence.
  • Monitor the expedient processing of loan applications through regular contact with loan processors and conduct regular pipeline management.
  • Solicit and originate mortgage loan programs to all prospective borrowers, including those in low-to-moderate areas and income individuals, serve as the liaison to local, state, and federal government agencies, and community development groups.
  • Identify needs and cross-sell other Bank products and services to established cross-sale targets, prepare records and reports regarding loan solicitation, origination, and closing activities.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 1-3 years of residential loan processing or origination experience with a financial institution or mortgage banking company is also required.

Salary

$14.88 - $25.51 per hour, depending on location and experience.
