About the Role

The Registered Nurse RN PACU will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely information exchange
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
  • Experience in a PACU or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
