Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer patient care practices according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and self.
  • Perform a variety of examinations using standard department protocols, isolation precautions, and/or sterile technique.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas to ensure optimal department functions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologists, or ARMRIT or CAMRT certification.
  • Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or MRI Technologist in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
