Job Summary:

As a Solids Control Operator at NOV, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of solids control equipment on drilling rigs. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting analysis to optimize equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete solids control rig ups, rig downs, and troubleshooting tasks
  • Perform solids control analysis of equipment
  • Conduct electrical rig ups, rig downs, and minor repairs
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to company safety protocols
  • Collaborate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:
  • Experience in solids control or a related mechanical field
  • Ability to identify potential mechanical problems and operate heavy equipment safely
  • Pass background check, pre-placement physical, and substance abuse testing
  • Training on existing solids control equipment and new technology
