Alloy Engineering CO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and existing products to meet customer needs and improve manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new and existing products to improve manufacturability and meet customer needs
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
- Serve as the department's expert technical resource on engineering, compliance, and design
- Review quoting opportunities and support the sales team and customers with product expertise
- Communicate with customers on technical matters, including design changes and issue resolution
- BS in Engineering or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering within a steel manufacturing environment
- Experience with stainless steel or nickel alloys is advantageous
- Proven experience in product design and improvement
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices such as forming, welding, and cutting
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Proficiency with technology, particularly ERP software, Microsoft Office, and 3D Modeling software (SolidWorks preferred)
