- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification, with ACLS preferred.
- IV Certified or obtained within 6 months, highly preferred.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute is a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and Palomar Health. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey, focusing on maximizing health, function, and quality of life. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
