Under the supervision of the RN/Licensed Care Provider, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Rady Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care.
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. You will demonstrate clinical competence in performing, assisting, and/or documenting tasks and procedures with excellence and quality, per department standards, regulatory guidelines, and within scope of practice using an age/developmental appropriate approach.
You will implement a plan of care, provide patient and family teaching, follow-up, and discharge instructions with excellence and quality, per departmental standards and within scope of practice.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate's Degree or nursing diploma from an accredited LVN program
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
- One year of experience
- At least one year of pediatric experience
- Bilingual Spanish
Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. We conduct regular market reviews to remain competitive with organizations of similar size in the nonprofit, healthcare sector.
The expected hiring range for this position is $29.49 to $40.22. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors, including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
