  • Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure proper documentation and coding practices
  • Assist with medical collections as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years medical billing experience
  • Out-of-network billing experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and ICD-9 coding systems
  • Proficiency in using medical billing software systems
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and workflows
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
