Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of travel nurses at Travel Nurses, Inc. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in emergency situations, such as cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhage
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington
- 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
