Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in our registry position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of LifeBridge Health. Under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, you will complete designated structured/standardized evaluation/re-eval tasks, conduct general activity programs, and assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the mission and values of LifeBridge Health
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals
  • Develop and implement activity programs to promote patient independence and functional ability
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies
  • Less than 2 years of experience preferred; psychosocial practice background preferred
  • CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (Maryland)
  • Initial COTA certification by AOTCB or NBCOT
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting
