Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of LifeBridge Health. Under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, you will complete designated structured/standardized evaluation/re-eval tasks, conduct general activity programs, and assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction.

Responsibilities:

Utilize knowledge appropriate to the patient's age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patients.

Possess strong interpersonal, task analysis and clinical reasoning skills, creativity, innovation, professional development and autonomy.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.

Less than 2 years of experience preferred, with psychosocial practice background preferred but not required.

CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification required.

Initial COTA certification by AOTCB or NBCOT required.
