About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Mechanical Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data center engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in working in heavy industrial environments, with a proven track record of collaborating with construction and plant personnel. A Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering is required, with equivalent domain-specific technical experience also considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and analyze piping and pipe supports to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external ecosystem partners to design and develop new data center product solutions.
  • SUPPORT field engineering and data center operation teams for performing root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Leverage economy of scale through standardization and modularization of data center products.
  • Maintain and develop technical design procedures associated with piping and pipe support analysis activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in working in heavy industrial environments.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with construction and plant personnel.
  • PE certification preferred.
  • Experience designing piping and plumbing designs for hydronic systems for data centers.
  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including specification, design, prototyping, validation and testing.
