Registered Nurse

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. As a Med Surg RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a 32-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit with specialty patients in GYN and Oncology.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring patient condition and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
