Job Summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and providing leadership to clinical/non-clinical teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff. Your primary focus will be on delivering quality patient care and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives in an assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinical/non-clinical teams to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments for clinical/non-clinical teams.
• Delegate appropriate duties to clinical/non-clinical teams based on their assessed skills and abilities.
• Gather information from other team members and use this data to plan for the care of all patients on the unit for the shift.
• Evaluate the care delivered by other licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff, providing direct and immediate feedback and coaching as needed.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State required.
• 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
