Job Description

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Space Operations Instructor to join our team. As a Space Operations Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for Space Force and Air Force personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Space Force and Air Force personnel
  • Conduct analysis of jobs and missions to create task lists used in the development of learning objectives, course content, and basis for learning
  • Perform analysis to identify student knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for mission/job/task performance
  • Develop course learning objectives, test strategy, and test items, as well as determine instructional strategies and instructional methods and media
  • Design and develop instructional material and technical documentation
  • Implement training by ensuring all necessary personnel, equipment, administrative material, and facilities are adequate and available
  • Participate in the preparation and submission of training plans and training materials according to the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) process
  • Conduct formative, summative, and operational evaluations to generate metrics used to improve the training system quality

Requirements:

  • Experience with space domain-related software such as ISSA, SPADOC, ASW, MPS, BMEWS
  • Understanding of cislunar security and surveillance
  • Experience working with Space Force/Air Force personnel in training environments
  • Experience training enterprise mission-focused software applications
  • Experience in developing and leading in-person classroom or group-based training
  • Ability to adapt training plans and presentations based on size of class and individual training session needs
  • Active-duty military operational experience supporting the Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission, preferably with demonstrated experience training SDA operators
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
  • Must be able to organize and plan effectively
  • Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid U.S. Passport
  • Must have an active Secret clearance with DCID 6/4 eligibility and ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI
