Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Bosselman Pump & Pantry, Inc. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and making change accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and equipment.
  • Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure that all products are properly stored and displayed.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash, processing credit card transactions, and completing paperwork.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
