Maintenance Technician

Saputo is a leading global dairy processor seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Relief to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in maintenance and repair.

• 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and SAP.
• Knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boiler, and utility systems.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible scheduling as needed.
