About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a vacation relief position. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Conduct daily production, utility, ammonia, and boiler rounds to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with operators and other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment problems
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in industrial maintenance

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and write English fluently
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
