About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Butterball, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including hydraulic systems, electrical and electronic systems, and welding.
  • Operate and repair various types of forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including production and quality, to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with machines and equipment, working closely with supervisors and other personnel.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, including transformers and wiring, and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Perform physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects, to maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Install, program, troubleshoot, or repair automated machinery and equipment, including programmable controllers.
  • Follow all ISO 14001 procedures to ensure environmental sustainability.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking or hearing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment is wet and/or humid, with moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, electrical and/or vibration shock.
