We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a per diem ICU nurse. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient care plans and provide individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
- Administer and record prescribed medications, as well as adjust specialized medical equipment as needed.
- Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on discharge planning and educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care.
- Maintain and update patient files, medical charts, and health records, adhering to best nursing practices and protocols.
- BLS and ACLS certification
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods and strong technical skills
- Passionate about patient care and requires a minimum of two years of current RN ICU experience
