Job Summary

As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate medical information and provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
  • Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, as well as adjust specialized medical equipment as needed.
  • Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate on discharge planning with the healthcare team and educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care.
  • Maintain and update patient files, medical charts, and health records, adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols.

Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and strong technical skills
  • Passionate about patient care and requires a minimum of two years of current RN ICU experience
