Your Role
We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will oversee all safety-related aspects of the projects assigned to you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, field labor, and vendors to synchronize activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits throughout the construction process, including preconstruction walks, progress inspections, and final closeouts.
- Perform and document quality assurance and safety inspections to maintain an acceptable work environment and ensure tools and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Plan and execute self-performed work while managing labor crews and subcontractors, including planning sequencing, crew sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor expenditures.
- Track actual production results and adjust forecasts to reflect real-time progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solar Construction projects.
- Strong understanding of rooftop installations is essential.
- Familiarity with ground-mount and carport commercial PV construction methods is preferred.
- Knowledge of behind-the-meter and utility interconnections.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Understanding of construction safety regulations; OSHA 10 or 30 certification is required.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
- Ability to climb ladders and access building roofs.
