Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to join our team at Trilogy Health Services. As a Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the business office operations of our health campus, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the business office operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and billing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident information, and personnel information.
  • Ensure daily and weekly Key Statistics Reporting is completed timely and accurately.
  • Provide back-up assistance for AP/Payroll functions.
  • Supervise the processing of accounts payable and payroll within required deadlines.
  • Manage the set-up and maintenance of resident's files in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage month-end billing processes for all payer classes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist with posting payments received appropriately to the correct resident account/cash receipt journal.
  • Reconcile cash receipts journal to the monthly deposit log and send a copy to the Home Office at each month end.
  • Supervise and maintain resident files and resident trust accounts, recording deposits, making payments as appropriate, reconciling the resident trust account monthly, and sending a copy of the reconciliation to the Home Office.
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable, preparing monthly reports for quarterly AR reviews with the Executive Director and Business Office Support.
  • Supervise the scheduling of office personnel, work assignments, and ensure consistent adherence to established procedures for cost control regarding supplies and purchase order policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, maintain, and ensure office supplies inventory, inventories supplies to provide an adequate but not over-stocked inventory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college graduate or some college classes preferred.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory, accounts receivable, payroll, or accounts payable environment; Medicaid/Medicare, healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
