Pharmacy Technician Job Description

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and service in our pharmacies. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification or training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
