Full-Time Customer Service Collections Specialist
Position Summary:
Upon successful completion of comprehensive training, your role will involve engaging with individuals responsible for outstanding debts, identifying viable solutions, and establishing payment plans. This position necessitates a high level of comfort and skill in navigating sensitive conversations with individuals in challenging circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in Collections, Sales, Retail, or Customer Service is essential.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience using computer applications in a Windows environment is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to actively listen are crucial.
- Ability to adapt to diverse personality types is necessary.
- Exceptional multitasking skills, with a focus on prioritization and time management.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for assisting individuals by resolving issues and presenting solutions.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience in a call center setting with 100% phone-based interactions.
- Exhibit outstanding communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities while maintaining engagement with the individual contacted.
- Handle conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain clear communication while outlining potential consequences for unresolved issues.
- Demonstrate effectiveness in a metrics-driven environment.
- Accurately document each interaction, payment arrangements, and other pertinent information in MCOA's database.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory and departmental guidelines.
