We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Technologist to join our Hematology team at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate diagnostic and treatment information to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily direction to laboratory staff regarding workload, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a consult for test performance and technical problems.
  • Perform routine to high complexity testing and advanced troubleshooting on state-of-the-art instrumentation.
  • Commit to a culture of teamwork and participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and self-motivation to work independently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
  • 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory with emphasis on skills related to work area.
  • Certification by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent.
