The Housing Support Specialist is a vital role within the Rapid Rehousing Plus Care (RRH+C) program, focusing on delivering comprehensive service and housing assistance to individuals and families facing homelessness.

Each year, we positively impact the lives of over 140,000 individuals across Colorado, providing essential services such as housing support, emergency shelters, and nutritional assistance.
Role Responsibilities
- Facilitate the delivery of housing assistance and case management services to program participants.
- Implement service strategies including Housing First, Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and community outreach to identify and support individuals in need.
- Assist clients in navigating housing options and securing stable living arrangements.
- Coordinate with various service providers to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting in compliance with organizational standards.
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments as necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field.
- Experience working with homeless populations and understanding of housing stability challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client empowerment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with community resources.
Working Conditions
This position requires travel within the community and may involve evening and weekend hours to meet client needs.
