Lync Transportation Services LLC is a leading provider of passenger transportation services in the Philadelphia area. We are seeking a highly qualified and professional Transportation Monitor/Attendant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the activities of students while on van routes to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist students in boarding vehicles, ensuring they are properly seated and secured.
- Utilize positive behavior reinforcement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
- Notify and report student disciplinary infractions to supervisors and maintain accurate records.
- Assist drivers with entering student attendance, contacting parents, and sending notifications through our student tracking portal.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and sanitization, conducting regular inspections to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Participate in professional development training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Attend mandatory staff and student meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a professional setting, preferably 3+ years.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques, with the ability to become certified if not already.
- Ability to handle and de-escalate situations in a warm, caring, and professional manner.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
As a condition of employment, applicants must undergo a thorough pre-employment screening process, which includes a PA Child Abuse Clearance, Fingerprinting, PA State Police-CHRI, National Background Testing, Drug and Alcohol Testing, and TB Testing. All costs associated with these requirements will be covered by Lync Transportation Services LLC.
ScheduleShifts are available Monday to Friday, with part-time hours per week. We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our team members.
