Job Title: CT Tech

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Powers Health.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will work under the supervision of the Special Imaging Supervisor/Director of Imaging Services, performing diagnostic procedures and providing direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as expertise in CT theory and scanning procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret physician orders and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Administer IV contrast dyes and examine images for usability
  • Update patient medical information and maintain inventory of CT scan supplies
  • Clean and maintain CT scan equipment
  • Support the Mission and Philosophy of Powers Health, recognizing the dignity and worth of human life in daily activities
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
  • Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensure by the Indiana State Board of Health
  • Minimum of one year specialized training/experience in CT theory and scanning procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred CT Certification by ARRT
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for Neonates, Infants, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients/family served
