CT Technologist Job Description

Powers Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using computed tomography scanners
  • Position patients properly to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Administer contrast dyes as needed to enhance imaging
  • Examine images to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Update patient medical records and maintain CT scan equipment
  • Order and manage inventory of CT scan supplies
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensure by the Indiana State Board of Health
  • Minimum of one year specialized training or experience in CT scanning
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred CT Certification by ARRT
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
