Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect patient trays during meal service, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Communicate patient food needs to the Food and Nutrition Services Department, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Visit patients to introduce the services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department, building rapport and trust with patients and families.
  • Inventory and restock pantries, refrigerators, and freezers on assigned units, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintain temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
  • Assist clinical staff in ensuring patients' basic nutrition care needs are met, working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual abilities preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and/or stand for extended periods, with physical demands varying by location.
