Position Overview:

PlanITROI is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Manager to lead our receiving operations. The successful candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of management experience in a dynamic IT asset disposition (ITAD) re-manufacturing or consumer returns environment. This role demands a proactive leader who will oversee all aspects of the receiving department, emphasizing safety, compliance, and effective inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all activities of the receiving team, ensuring efficient operations while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
  • Manage and validate all incoming shipments, including verifying Bills of Lading (BOL) for accuracy in pallet and piece counts.
  • Sign off on BOLs in accordance with company policy, ensuring proper checks are conducted.
  • Supervise the unloading of shipments from incoming vehicles, ensuring proper handling and processing.
  • Generate orders for non-economical assets or recyclable materials.
  • Ensure accurate weighing and labeling of pallets, updating the inventory management system with received units.
  • Conduct quality inspections on received shipments to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Delegate tasks and manage workloads for team members based on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and product types.
  • Ensure compliance with established SLAs for various product categories.
  • Verify received items against purchase orders for material and quantity accuracy, conducting daily quality checks.
  • Document all receiving procedures to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Train and mentor receiving team members on proper procedures, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Allocate units to designated warehouse locations and perform transactions using RF scanners.
  • Maintain clear aisles and docks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Adhere to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and R2V3 regulations and procedures.
  • Lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Receiving Manager role.
  • 3-5 years of familiarity with computer hardware, IT assets, IT consumer goods, ITAD, and manufacturing processes.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a team of 5-10 employees.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and R2 regulations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams video conferencing.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, accountable environment.
