A Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage shift schedules for team members
- Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off
- Assign duties to team members based on role and skills
- Supervise employees and assist with tasks as needed
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Manage employee requests and conduct
- Train new and current team members on tasks and procedures
- Handle customer issues and manage conflicts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health, safety, and employment standards
- Uphold integrity and security with sensitive information
- Manage club cleanliness and maintenance
- Drive sales and member experience metrics
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working in a team environment, preferably in the industry or with PF Miami Developers LLC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills, including decision-making, motivation, and goal-setting
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
- Conflict resolution skills and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
- In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
- Comfortable with workplace technology, including billing, contracts, POS functions, reporting, registers, scheduling, and inventory management
- Basic math skills
$14.00 per hour
