The EMI/EMC Test Engineer will take charge of formulating procedures, generating reports, and executing a variety of EMI and power quality testing activities across numerous systems, including submersible and space platforms that are recognized globally.

Additionally, the EMI/EMC Test Engineer will provide support in specialized areas related to Power Variation (MIL-STD-704), Multipaction, Corona Discharge, and TEMPEST for products under development at L3Harris.

This role is tailored for an entry-level engineering professional with a strong desire to cultivate technical knowledge. It presents an excellent opportunity to devise innovative solutions and advance as the next generation of EMI/EMC Test Engineers, with a career trajectory leading to candidacy for the L3Harris technical fellowship program.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct EMI Qualification test campaigns on state-of-the-art programs.
- Execute EMI/EMC, DO-160, MIL-STD-704 Power Quality, HIRF, Lightning, RF co-site, and antenna coupling testing.
- Leverage EMI engineering technology expertise to document and resolve intricate challenges.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Engineering Physics Technology with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain US DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
- US DoD Secret Security Clearance is preferred.

Certification:
- International Association for Radio Telecommunications and Electromagnetics (iNARTE) EMI/EMC engineer certification is advantageous.
