Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology Advanced Care Practitioner

Radia Oregon Radiology Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in the heart of the beautiful Rogue Valley. As a Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology Advanced Care Practitioner, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides clinical, procedural, and hybrid patient care needs supported by Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based, community care driven setting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Interventional Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiology and interventional procedures, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including injections, exchanges, and removals of drainage catheters, imaging-guided thoracentesis and paracentesis, venography, and arteriography.
  • Assist with PICC placement and repositioning, tunneled and non-tunneled catheter placement and removal, and implantation of ports.
  • Perform lumbar puncture and myelography under imaging guidance, biopsy under imaging guidance, arthrocentesis and joint injections under imaging guidance, and placement of small bore chest tubes under imaging guidance.
  • Evaluate and manage Interventional Radiology patients, including performing and documenting consultation, history and physical, progress notes, and obtaining fluoroscopic diagnostic images under the supervision of diagnostic radiologists.
Requirements
  • Current Oregon license as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Current Registry R.T.(R) (AART) or RDMS, RVT preferred.
  • Maintain hospital privileges/credentialing where IR procedures are performed.
  • CME of 100 hours is required every 2 years to maintain privileges.
  • Current DEA.
  • National Certification as prescribed by the NCCPA.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $140,000, based on multiple factors, including job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, equity, and employment status.
