The Extrusion Blow Molding Machine Technician is responsible for overseeing the operation of machinery and equipment, ensuring that the final products adhere to the established quality and hygiene standards set forth by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates the Extrusion Blow Molding machinery to guarantee the quality and compliance of the finished products.
- Monitors and adjusts automatic control devices (such as tray formers, palletizers, and leak testers), documenting results and promptly notifying the technical team when necessary.
- Assists in technical tasks including color and mold changes, cleaning of blades and equipment, and setting up production lines.
- Packs completed products using suitable materials (e.g., boxes, trays, bags), organizes, loads, and labels pallets for storage.
- Supplies necessary raw and packaging materials to the production line using manual or electric forklifts.
- Feeds hoppers and loaders with raw materials or bottles designated for filling lines.
- Conducts product inspections (including visual checks and weight measurements) using appropriate measuring tools, adhering to the product control plan, and records findings on designated forms.
- Engages in the sorting of damaged or defective items.
- Participates in team initiatives aimed at minimizing waste and enhancing productivity and quality.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas, following proper workplace hygiene and safety protocols.
- May assume the role of deputy shift leader in their absence, taking on related responsibilities.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Strong understanding of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, or IM).
- Practical knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
- Capability to operate both manual and electric forklifts.
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical or electronic systems.
- Basic understanding of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
- Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and practices.
