Salary

This position comes with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

As an Oncology Care Specialist at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Your expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapy, blood product transfusions, radiation therapy, and bone marrow transplant will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapies in the oncology setting, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapy, blood product transfusions, radiation therapy, and bone marrow transplant.
  • Demonstrating clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.
  • Incorporating knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the nursing process.
  • Identifying patient, unit, and organizational priorities and incorporating the nursing process.
  • Adhering to all compliance and policy and procedure requirements of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing or a BSN preferred.
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
