Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Dufry. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests with a smile and take food and drink orders while answering any questions and thanking them for their order.
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food products consistently, adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
- Stay calm during periods of high volume and maintain a positive example for the team.
- Operate a cash register and receive payment from guests, following all brand and Dufry customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and organized, and decorate customer display areas.
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to enhance the culture, values, and mission of the brand and Dufry, following operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security.
Requirements:
- Strong social skills and the ability to meet new people.
- The ability to stay calm and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to learn new things and pick up new skills quickly.
- The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, policies, and rules, and to request assistance when needed.
- Basic math skills to accurately count money and make change.
- The ability to work well with others to help create a strong and cooperative team.
