Maintenance Technician I Job Description

The Maintenance Technician I plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and making necessary repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics, as well as experience working with power tools and computer equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and make necessary repairs
  • Work efficiently with the work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six months related experience and/or training required
  • Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses
