Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a key member of our medical team, you will provide expert care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care to neonates, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in delivery room resuscitations and assessments of unstable newborns, utilizing your expertise to provide timely and effective interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify safety concerns, and implement measures to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of compassion and respect.
- Master of Nursing Degree
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current State of California Registered Nurse and Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) License (eligible to obtain)
- National Certification as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Current DEA license and Furnishing Number
- Current BLS and PALS certification
