Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and planning processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial planning and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and GASB
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
  • Five years of experience in financial analysis and planning, preferably in an educational or government institution
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, software applications, and database management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Considerable experience with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and GASB
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Workday ERP system
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLook Up, macros, and logic functions

Montgomery College offers a competitive salary range of $76,679 to $99,671 annually, with initial salary placement based on candidate experience and internal equity.
