We are seeking a highly skilled Budget and Financial Analyst to join our team at Montgomery College. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to executive management and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and planning processes
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial planning and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and GASB
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
- Five years of experience in financial analysis and planning, preferably in an educational or government institution
- Proficiency in ERP systems, software applications, and database management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders
- Considerable experience with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and GASB
- Experience with Workday ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLook Up, macros, and logic functions
Montgomery College offers a competitive salary range of $76,679 to $99,671 annually, with initial salary placement based on candidate experience and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
