Language Translator

We are seeking a skilled Language Translator to join our team at BlueOval SK LLC. as an Electric Vehicle Battery Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a start-up team launching a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility in Kentucky and Tennessee.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent language skills, with proficiency in Korean and English languages. They will be responsible for translating spoken and written materials from one language to another, designing output formats, and monitoring information accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate communications clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject
• Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker
• Enter data into a computer system and retrieve, correct, or delete previously entered data
• Review and inspect work for quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Provide translation support for all team members of BlueOval SK, including employees assigned to the project from parent companies, Ford and SK On

Educational Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Translation, Linguistics, or International Business, is required. At least 1 year of administrative assistant or relocation experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
