MyMichigan Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Houghton Lake, Michigan. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, from general preventative care to ongoing acute and chronic illness management.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and referrals to specialists
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program
- Current state license to practice medicine in Michigan
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
