Laboratory Technician Specialist - Advance Your Career in Manhattan

About the Position:
  • Ensure knowledge of collection tubes, proper labeling of collected samples, and accurate quality control procedures.
  • Operate CBC analyzers, document daily startup and shutdown, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Monitor quality controls, report critical values to providers, and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:
  • Medical Assistant Certificate and High School Diploma required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in laboratory procedures, preferably with phlebotomy and quality control.
  • Experience with LIS/EMR systems, including LABDAQ, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
