Job Description

As an Orthodontic Records/Lab Technician at Grinbaum Orthodontics PLLC, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clinical team and providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming patients into the treatment area, making them feel comfortable, and offering refreshments. You will also assist the treatment coordinator during new patient visits, take dental impressions, pour dental models, and make Orthodontic retainers.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed.
  • Assist the treatment coordinator during new patient visits by taking photos, x-rays, and scans.
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, break down, and set up dental rooms.
  • Take dental impressions, pour dental models, and make Orthodontic retainers.
  • Organize and restock dental chairs, supplies, and materials.
  • Adhere to all OSHA health and safety regulations and office policies.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Orthodontic technician or similar role, or as a Dental Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
