Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opportunity in Alpharetta

Soliant, a leading provider of education staffing solutions, is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support K-12 students in the Alpharetta area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team and provide high-quality services to students with speech and language disorders. As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, using standardized assessments and clinical judgment to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Participate in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meetings to determine student eligibility and develop individualized education plans.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans, including goals, objectives, and interventions, in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and other professionals.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure students receive the services they need.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload, including progress reports, therapy notes, and other relevant documentation.
  • Provide progress reports to parents, summarizing student progress and highlighting areas of strength and weakness.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, ensuring efficient and effective use of time and resources.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development, including lesson plans, activities, and other educational materials.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License.
