Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Alpharetta, GA area. This is a full-time, onsite position for the school year. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Psychological Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Provide Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic issues.
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend interventions.
  • Provide Consultation and Support: Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding effective instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student evaluations, progress, and services provided.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of school psychology through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Valid GA School Psychologist License: Valid GA School Psychologist license.
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge of Psychological Assessment Tools: Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively: Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Commitment to Promoting a Positive School Environment: Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
