Platemaker Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Platemaker to join our team at Smurfit Westrock. As a Platemaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality plates for our printing operations.

• Meet or exceed standards for safety, quality, and productivity in platemaking
• Operate advanced computer controls to ensure accurate plate production
• Effectively communicate with leadership, maintenance, and press crews to ensure smooth operations
• Perform essential functions of the job, including problem-solving and inventory management
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• 2 years minimum experience in printing, platemaking, or equivalent technical education or experience
• Basic math skills and ability to operate advanced computer controls
• Ability to work all shifts and maintain a high level of productivity
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
