JOB OBJECTIVE: To maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC mechanical and electrical systems across various retail establishments, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing product loss while prioritizing partner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee refrigeration and HVAC systems for a designated group of retail locations.
  • Conduct repairs on equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with Site Management to keep them informed of all ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the Site Management team to ensure all planned maintenance activities are communicated effectively, including diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies.
  • Uphold the highest standards for all assets under your responsibility.
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks on refrigeration and HVAC systems as assigned.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in machine and electrical rooms.
  • Participate in the company's after-hours emergency call program.
  • Complete equipment inventories as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with rack systems, display cases, and walk-in refrigeration is highly preferred.
  • Journeyman certification in refrigeration and HVAC systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • In-depth knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration equipment, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills, including familiarity with Refrigeration Controller Technology, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask, work with limited supervision, and make sound decisions quickly.
