About the Role

This is a 2nd shift position working in a laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and inspecting testing specimens for accuracy, sorting priorities as needed, operating multiple machines for specimen testing, and preparing specimens for metallurgy review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect testing specimens for accuracy
  • Sort priorities as needed
  • Operate multiple machines for specimen testing
  • Prepare specimens for metallurgy review
  • Maintain lab supplies and order supplies and chemicals for testing
  • Engage in process optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Two years experience in quality/aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and quality procedures
